A true education provider for the growing needs of true quality

Following the statement of Vision, Mission and Core Values, The CAMFIRST SCHOOL blends three academic spheres. The school first uses the Khmer General Education Programme (KGEP) as its base, second adopts English, and third Chinese education in formulating its curriculum.

The school has put the greatest emphasis on Quality. In KGEP, the school has adopted the curriculum of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) while also including STEM education and Khmer Core Values — the identity that uncovers the strengths of the Khmer in the past to link into the present. Cambodia has had potential inner strengths both in the past and present, yet there is a missing link between the two. The connections we create are expected to make students proud of their nation and to continue participating in conserving and developing it to grow equally on the international stage.

In foreign-language education we extend our curriculum beyond theory by integrating extra-curricular activities such as charity events and field trips. Cambodia is lacking technical skills, and a lack of social skills among current and next generations is also an identified concern. In our next plans we are updating our curriculum towards Cambridge or A Level: an internationally recognised programme that opens doors for our students into a broader, more competitive world. These activities correspond to the second core value, Virtue.

While tuition fees rise for parents aiming for high education quality for their children, The CAMFIRST SCHOOL is among a few institutions that provide optimal education quality to humble and medium-income families. We consider ourselves a true education provider in the growing needs of true quality.

Vision

Provide 21st-century innovation in quality education, modernising both national and international curricula, so that students can excel in intellectual and social skills, develop their talents, and become strong resources with the fullest potential for society and humanity.

Mission

  1. Establish a complete, rich and flexible knowledge centre with multilingual education programmes to train students to be creative, leading to positive changes in society.

  2. Provide students with a clear understanding of the core values of their personal lives and basic human values, motivating them to become exemplary citizens in virtue, ethics and dignity, with high responsibility for their future and for humanity.

  3. Reveal and explain to learners the common identity of the core values of the Khmer nation — culture, civilisation and traditions — so they are proud of their nation and continue to conserve and develop it to grow equally on the international stage.
